What is Galà?
Inspired by FIlipino culture, Galà features a magical jeepney that takes you and a group of students (NPCs) on field trips showcasing historical Pinoy treasures and landmarks. Tara roadtrip!
Explore Filipino Landmarks!
Galà features one landmark per region of the Philippines, amounting to 17 total landmarks, ranging from the famous Mount Apo to the earthquake-proof Paoay Church, one of the oldest Philippine Churches.
Discover Cultural Treasures!
In Galà, you go on field trips where you can combine ideas to discover Filipino treasures from the historical artifact Manunggul Jar, to myths like Malakas at Maganda.
Unlock Jeepneys!
By discovering treasures and landmarks, you can unlock new jeepney designs for Galà. These designed are inspired by aspects of Filipino culture such as the record-holder mango of Iligan City and the mythical Manananggal creature.
Make Milk Tea Fuel!
Galà is not like other jeepneys, for instance Galà’s fuel is milk tea! Before a field trip starts, Galà must drink a bottle of milk tea fuel.
Pinoy Pride!
Galà’s ultimate goal is to showcase aspects of Filipino culture in a fun, low-stress environment. It aims to instill pride, curiosity, and most importantly, a deeper appreciation of Filipino history and culture.
Future Plans for Galà
Galà is currently on hiatus as I am currently working on my 2nd project, Iskrambol Days.
